CloseIn continuation of our series, we will be getting into Jesus’s second message: Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. How can one feel blessed during suffering? Mourning is an expression of our own hearts when something of value has been taken from us. Although painful, mourning helps us align our hearts with God’s. The reality is that apart from the good news of Jesus Christ, there is no comfort. This serves as a beautiful reminder that the heart of humanity is that we all have sinned, but the heart of Christianity is the truth that God is full of grace and unconditional love.
