You are the Light of the World
We invite you to join us this Sunday in continuation of our series, “the Kingdom Manifesto”, as we look at God’s word in Matthew 5:14-16! For the Christian, how you live is the best example of what you believe, and Christ calls us to be set apart from the world, a “light” amidst the darkness of sin. While it can be very challenging to not conform to society and the sins they promote, we can remember how Christ suffered on the cross and liberated us from sin so we can live eternally in God’s kingdom. Jesus did not set us free from a life that we should keep living. Just as Jesus Christ lived on Earth loving and serving God and others, we should be encouraged to exude His “light” and love to the rest of the world.
