Our Father
Christian or not, many have heard or read a prayer that begins with “Our Father”, the Lord’s prayer found in the Holy Bible. However, most of the time context, meaning, and Jesus’s true intentions are overlooked. The Lord’s prayer is not simply a prayer that Christians should memorize and recite back to God, but rather an example or as many may say the “ingredients” of how we should pray. There is nothing wrong with memorizing this prayer. Although we must remember that when it comes to praying, God is way more interested in us communicating with and speaking to Him with our hearts than just our words.
