Who is the Adulterer?
Adultery: While it may be an uncomfortable or sensitive topic it remains a sin that many, including Christians, continue to struggle with. As many believe it to simply be sexual relations outside of marriage, Jesus states that we can commit adultery in the mind and heart as well. A person who lives in adultery proves that he or she has not truly come to know Christ. But just like any other sin, a Christian may repent and an unbeliever can be forgiven when they come to Christ in faith. We can trust that God will lead us to handle sin properly as we continue to pursue Him. And we can live in confidence that our sins, past, present, and future are forgiven in Christ. We invite you to join us this Sunday in continuation of our series, “the Kingdom Manifesto”, as we look at God’s word in Matthew 5:27-30!
