Pastor Stephen Brown
Pastor Stephen was brought up in Los Angeles, CA. Where after a radical conversion
out of the gang life, he was called to serve as a Youth Pastor for inner-city youth. After
receiving his Master of Divinity in 2009, he served as a US Navy Chaplain in Okinawa, Japan.
There he conducted humanitarian missions throughout the Philippines, Thailand, Japan, and
South Korea, bringing the Gospel and life-sustaining provisions to those in the greatest
need. While in Japan, he led a fruitful ministry as he served as the Senior Pastor for two
racially diverse congregations.
In September 2020, Pastor Brown was called to serve as the Senior Pastor of
Crossroads Community Bible Church. There, he focuses on having a passionate all-
consuming love life with Jesus Christ, solid expository preaching, family discipleship, and
racially diverse congregations for the glory of God. Today Pastor Stephen is working on his
Ph.D. at Gateway Southern Baptist Seminary.
Pastor Stephen is married to his beautiful wife, Maria, for over sixteen years. Together they
have three lovely children, Layla, Alina, and Titus.
Pastor Jeff Lovin
Jeff and his siblings grew up in the South learning the fear of God and the cultivation of His fruitful, green earth from their God-honoring parents. After trusting Jesus Christ to be his Savior, Jeff realized that he owed his life to the Lord and prepared for agricultural-based outreach to poverty-stricken communities. After meeting his dear wife Kim at Bible College and transitioning into international service, they and their four children lived to train and bless the villagers where they lived for 15 years. Back in the States, Jeff has worked in church planting and has served with Kim as the Assistant Pastor at CCBC. His main roles are to help with worship services, seek the well-being of the members through weekly small groups, discipleship and other ministries in the community.
